Little Day Out in Greater Dandenong

Children across our city will be encouraged to explore the Great Outdoors during this year’s
Greater Dandenong Children’s Festival.
The annual event celebrates children up to 12 years old and runs across the September-
October school holidays, kicking off with the headline event the Little Day Out.
Explore the great outdoors with family and friends at the Little Day Out on Sunday 22
September, from 11am-4pm, at Noble Park’s Ross Reserve.
Thrill seekers can find plenty of excitement on the amusement rides, while sports
enthusiasts can jump into the Make Your Move Zone where local sporting clubs and
organisation will run come and try sessions for a variety of sports.
Enjoy live performances on the main stage and see roving entertainers bring a carnival
atmosphere to Ross Reserve. Market, food and community stalls will also offer something
for everyone.
Beyond the Little Day Out, the Greater Dandenong Children’s Festival will also include a
calendar of fun activities to celebrate our youngest residents. From live shows at the Drum
Theatre to free activities at our local libraries and a series of outdoor movie events across
Harmony Square and Springvale Community Hub, there is so much fun to be had.
Grab the Greater Dandenong’s Children Festival calendar from our customer service centres
and libraries or visit www.greaterdandenong.vic.gov.au/childrens-festival for all the details.
